It's just the R-isomer of Meridia's metabolites desmethylsibutramine and didesmethylsibutramine ..Meridia has been around since 96, as a diet drug..It effects neurotransmitters like effexor, but exactly opposite...dopamine-->norepinephrine-->serotonin
