Other than the switch to the generic brand, taking Ambien is the only major change that correlates with my ADD being back in full force last week*. I know correlation isn't causation and all that, but I should ask here just in case. I really need to figure out why I couldn't focus last week even with doubling my dose or with trying Ritalin again.
As mentioned in my original thread (on 4/3), with the generic I started at 5mg 2x day. When I felt no effect I then doubled it to 10mg 2x day: still nothing. ADD-wise it was still as if I was taking a placebo. For months I'd successfully used (name brand) dexedrine without developing any tolerance, and that's why I'd asked if there could be a difference between Dex spansules and the generic (Barr) d-amph. On Friday I went back to Ritalin (had some left over from a while ago). But even the Ritalin didn't work fully, which is why I'm researching if the Ambien could interfere.
(* And my stress levels at work are higher, but that is an effect of the ADD being back, not a cause, I think.)
