> Hi Jessi,

After about the third or fourth day, while driving into work, I had a panic attack, which I hadn't had in quite awhile. I ended up calling in sick to work for two days and figured four days of lexapro was enough. I feel I only have mild depression and anxiety, but things could be better, so I'm considering trying the lexapro again. Maybe some of my problems were just my anxiety about taking an anti-depressant drug.....I'm not sure. I guess maybe I just feel a little weird about taking such a drug.Jetfixer,
Well, I know everyone is different, but even at a mild depression, medication helps me alot. I've never been in a deep depression, but feel like if I had waited longer to go see someone, it could have been worse. I hope everything works out for you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about what I'm on.
I tried for months the first time to "fight off" the depression. I thought it was just a low that I was going through. I thought I'd come out of it. It kept getting worse. Mine came out more as anger than sadness. I guess because I'm a very strong person, getting my feelings hurt or being sad has always made me mad, because I like to be in control of things, especially my emotions.
Just don't wait too long to get help, okay? Good luck, with whatever decision you make! Jessi
