Yeah, Zoloft was crap for me. You want to know abot the discontinuation? I don't know if I should...The first time I went off Zoloft, after about 4-5 weeks, the most blackest, worse depression came to me. This was NOT a return of symptoms because all I was treated for was OCD. But this depression was major - cognitive impairment, concentration probs, severe anhedonia, absolutely horrid. Also it made my derealization and phobic anxiety very very bad - and while I was on it it didn't help! I had to restart the Zoloft. But it was too late for uni - had to pull out. Dr. Shipko says this is typical of a Zoloft discontinuation. 2nd time off it I was alright, cause I went straight to a brilliant drug called Nardil (I had to be drug-free for two weeks but).
