Some say that SSRI's (what was it you're using) ?cause a downreulation in the norepiephrine system. Then upon withdrawl, all this extra noradrenaline can act funny at site that have
been chronicall used to less. It really doesn't last forever. The brain really does adjust.

You notice the zaps happen at a time when you turn your head or perhaps when someone surprises you? This is when norepineprine activity directs attention to the apparent stimulus.
