This thread is a Godsend! I am new to Lexapro as are many of those who've posted here. I'm taking 20 mg. It seemed at first as if it was a waste of time and money but gradually I've felt better. I am so grateful for those who encouraged patience. Now I'm starting to get some benefit. I must admit that I've dodged all the side effects mentioned except the perspiration. My wife and I are most pleased that one of the side effects discussed never showed up at all. BTW, she is taking 10 mg. and reports no side effects except a slight increase in propensity to perspire.
