I think Buspar can have striking effects for many people, especially if you are taking other meds that have a good "synergy" with Buspar. I had some very positive results with just 5-10mg of Buspar added to a tiny dose of Celexa (2.5mg/day), in the past. However, if I upped the Buspar above 10mg I got very irritable. Less than 5mg didn't do anything, so 7.5mg/day (divided) worked the best for me with a little Celexa. Without the SSRI, however, it seemed to make things worse.
