>A high value is placed on it yes but actually the
sex drive like anything else in human behavior is
regulated by the brain and our chemicals etc.
Therefore it can be affected by drugs but also people are just different in their own body
chemistry and they may have a high sex drive or they may have a low one or none. Often people
with low sex drive may enjoy close contact with someone
but not necessarily in a sexual way.
It is up to that individual to decide what
they value and what they want in thier heart
nevermind the brain!
It has been reported that women taking testoserone for certain types of therapy reported
a much higher interest and thinking about
sex then they had before. Often these women
were taking higher doses of testoserone than
the average male had in them as an equivalent measure.
I think there was a report on this on This American Life on NPR and the women
described these experiences. They began
to realize why men are men, why they
act and think the way they do.In conclusion to linkadge let me say that I think you need to find the therapy/meds that work for you and just let yourself be comfortable with however you are with sex and don't worry about
it unless you want to.J
