Hi Littie.

Effexor and Wellbutrin are two antidepressants that have been used to treat ADD AD/HD. I don't know how effective they are generally, but you can find citations on Medline that support their utility. Both of these drugs exert effects on noradrenergice activity, as does Strattera. Effexor can be very SSRI-like and makes for a potent antidepressant. If you stick with SSRIs, it might be worth adding Wellbutrin to see if it helps with ADD.

What is it about stimulants that you have trouble with?
