> Hi there,
Just wanted to give a little feedback on the effects of effexor.
i have been taking 225mg for one year.
It is my experience that the initial side effects are a fairly good indicator, as to how a person will react to the drug in the long term, but to a lesser extent.
The sex-drive problem is one that has remained with me, and tiredness, less so.
I have also had hair loss and severe night sweats.

It is not up to me to make any statements, but all I know is that effexor can be a lifesaving drug (literally) and should only be used in that context.
If your husband is not suffering from depression or anxiety, or even ADHD to a point where it impairs his day to day functioning, he really shouldn't be taking psychotropic medications.

i hope that the councelling avenue is fully explored and that you can get your lives back on track.
Sincere best wishes.
Tay
