> Hi there,
Just wanted to give a little feedback on the effects of effexor.
i have been taking 225mg for one year.
It is my experience that the initial side effects are a fairly good indicator, as to how a person will react to the drug in the long term, but to a lesser extent.
The sex-drive problem is one that has remained with me, and tiredness, less so.
I have also had hair loss and severe night sweats. It is not up to me to make any statements, but all I know is that effexor can be a lifesaving drug (literally) and should only be used in that context.
If your husband is not suffering from depression or anxiety, or even ADHD to a point where it impairs his day to day functioning, he really shouldn't be taking psychotropic medications.i hope that the councelling avenue is fully explored and that you can get your lives back on track.
Sincere best wishes.
Tay
