I'm trying to put the decision behind me though. Its decided and I should stick with it. I know a few friends that dont think I should, but funnily enough they're the one's who have never suffered. My friends that have say its most likely for the best.

If he really loves you then you are not going to drive him away. If you really want to try and make him understand what is wrong with you then show him this site tonight. Show him that there are many people out here like you, and depression is real and we are real people who need help dealing with this disorder. We are here to support each other and not to judge and until he has walked in your shoes, he has no room to talk. If he has a problem with your taking meds, then it is his problem. I would rather take meds to help me than to end up with slit wrists somewhere down the road. I hope I have helped you in some way. Hang in there. Someone once told me in a bout of depression that "This too shall pass". I live by those words now, and I hope that they will help you.
