Talk with your doctor about a therapist that does CBT. A good book, in my opinion, is "The Feeling Good Handbook" by David Burns. Good exercises and checklists. CBT is something that must be practiced and for most, the thought changes do not come naturally. However, a number of individuals find it quite effective. Others, don't have very good success. I wish you luck.
