> okay, I'm new to this, but have read often. I have tried Paxil, Effexor, Prozac and Zoloft. I am now on Wellbutrin (3 days). Aside from usual depression and anxiety, I lately have been experiencing quite a temper. I seem to snap very quickly if someone crosses me--particularly while driving. When this happens, I feel like I am losing control or have lost control. The anger is bad..very intense, very quick. This has been going on for a few weeks now. I have just started Wellbutrin, but prior have been off all meds for about six weeks. Does any one have any suggestions? Is this a form of panic attack? I do get them, but usually just freak out, hide, then cry. Tonight when a woman driving an SuV gave me the finger, I thought of hitting her with my car. When I got home I took half of a xanax I had leftover from a flight. This seemed to get me grounded and things made sense within 45 min. Please help if you have had any similar experiences. Really, I'm a bit freaked out. Thanks
Rage reactions from Wellbutrin are not uncommon. Tell your doctor about them. Some people are extra sensitive to these effects and you don't want to end up losing your job or having a wreck or something. There are some that report this stuff to fade after a few weeks, but if they are really bad I wouldn't want to wait that long-your doctor might want to try reducing the dosage for awhile. My temper spells with WB were dose related.
