Jay,

I think a low carb low fat diet might help the gastrointestinal problems. Check out the link Ethel Bassett sent me in Nikki's thread above. And here's a link I found after reading that one.

I don't have any choice about staying on for diabetes II, but I'm hoping there might be some ways to counter the side effects.
