> (I'm still thinking that I should slowly reduce the Zoloft...why rush it..what's the hurry?)If you start the Lexapro as soon as you discontinue Zoloft, there should be no problem - unless the doses are very different (i.e. you've been taking 200 mg Zoloft, but are only going to start 5 mg Lexapro... I don't believe this is your situation) No harm in slowly tapering though, if it makes you feel better.
> (2) Is there a medicine equivalency site? (i.e. 10 mg Lexapro is equal to how much Celexa? Zoloft?) Thanks!!!
I don't know of one. To answer your previous question about Celexa and Lexapro... yes, just 1/2 the dose of Celexa to get the same dose of Lexapro - for example, 40 mg Celexa = 20 mg Lexapro.
As for Celexa and Zoloft... hard to say, but 50-100 mg of Zoloft is probably equal to about 20 mg Celexa. This is just a rough estimation though.
