> Thanks for the info on NMDA antagonism... I seem to recall that dextromethorphan is an NMDA antagonist. I wonder if it's possible that DXM, taken in normal therapeutic doses, could achieve the same effect? More importantly, I wonder if chronic administration in this fassion could be dangerous (i.e. Olney's lesions)?

But perhaps the most welcome effect is the complete relief of OCD symptoms that I've had since my first dose. No more counting words and letters, no more compulsive checking to make sure I'm not stepping on the cracks in the sidewalk, lol. I'll keep you updated.

I think your resutls are fabulous. I'm really happy that you've found something so useful.

I can't predict if using DLPA will extend the effects of tramadol, but it is certainly reasonable to give it a try. It can't hurt you to add DLPA, as far as I understand the effects.

With respect to DXM, I think tramadol and DXM are not too different in molecular structure, but I'm going on memory (I might be wrong). I think Olney's lesions are unlikely if you keep the dose down, and take "holidays" from using it.

Gotta go,
Lar
