Topiramate and divalproex sodium are both used to treat bipolar disorder and prevent migraines, and Lamictal (another mood stabilizer) is useful if you have migraine with aura ("classical" migraine) and I believe, i'm not sure about this though cuz my memory has gotten a bit weird since I started Vivactil, that carbemazepine has a preventive effect as well... and the antipsychotics chlorpromazine, haloperidol, and compazine are all used to treat active migraine symptoms, so you might ask about switching to one of those.
