According to this reference, it is a dimethylamine, which none of the other drugs on the chart are. It is stronger in its inhibition of serotonin and norepinepherine reuptake (++) than it is of dopamine (+). It has a quite short half-life of 1-2 hours, which doesn't sound so good unless it is the metabolites that are doing the work.
Note that reuptake inhibition of a specific neurotransmitter is a different mode of action than inhibition of monoamine oxidase A and/or B.
Effexor has a similar activity profile (stronger on the serotonin RI (+++)) and a longer half-life of 5-7 hours.
