I recently added 600 mg/day of Neurontin to treat my BP II dysphoric mood states (irritability). The Neurontin is causing erectile dysfunction (ED) and delayed orgasm (almost anorgasmic at times). I can deal with the delayed orgasm issue (a certain amount of this side effect can actually be a good thing for a male), but the ED is more problematic for my wife and myself. I'm hoping these are transient side effects associated with the initial startup of the medication. However, my current hunch is that these side effects are going to be with me as long as I take the medication. Time will tell.

Exactly the same with me (although I'm male).
> Most medical people seem to think anorgasmia is not a side effect of Neurontin but I would be interested in hearing peoples experiences.
I think it is rarer than the rate of occurrence seen with SSRI's, but unfortunately Neurontin does affect some patients in this way.
