Sleeping pills after general aneasthetic

I had a general aneasthetic for some surgery on my elbow today.

I'm in a fair amount of pain, even though I am taking Co-drydamol (paracetamol and dihydrocodiene).. and after having slept half the day I am worried that I won't sleep tonight.

I have some sleeping pills - Zopiclone 7.5mg - so i wondered if it would be safe to take one tonight?? I was under general for an hour, but there were some problems when my blood pressure and temperature plummeted.
