If your therapist made you feel uncomfortable, then you were right to leave. Most therapists, however, are professional.
Maybe you can get a referral to a new therapist. You could ask your regular doctor, or specialist that you see, or ask a friend who you know who is a therapist or works with therapists, or ask a friend (although their therapist might not take you because they are your friend - but their therapist might recommend another therapist for you). Given your last experience, I wouldn't recommend just looking in the phone book.
You say that this is impacting your personal and professional lives, and that you have morbid thoughts. These things indicate to me that it would be good to get some help. You don't need to continue living this way.
Let us know how it goes. In particular, if you are having a hard time finding a therapist, please shout back - I'm sure someone on this board can help.
Good Luck
