VNS/Parnate_Interaction_Inquiry

Had my VNS (for depression) turned on right around the time Parnate had started really working well for me. After two years (last year had brief "spells" of depression then recovery!?) had a bad episode and got rid of Parnate and then failed a trial on Marplan. Just had VNS turned off (still depressed). Could VNS device interfere with the Parnate or other meds? Does another trial of Parnate make sense, three monthes after stopping it and the VNS?
