Your doctor gave you too much to start with. I'm on 20mg now and had to drop from 30mg because of s/e. All of those drugs need to be gradually increased for everyone. I think 10mg is probably standard. Be careful next time. It sounds like your doctor is very aware that he made a mistake but doesn't want to admit it.
