serzone question

I have been taking 200mg of Serzone in the morning and 200mg at night. About a month ago I began taking a cholestrol medication with my serzone in the morning. Ever since then, the relieve I was getting from the Serzone has been even greater. Could there be some way that with taking the new medicine, the Serzone is being absorbed better or differently? In checking my mood log, the improvement has been quite remarkable.
