I was thinking of going for Manerix (moclobemide) because it seems less prone to cause side effects and there is no diet assle. However, I haven't find many posts on this site where someone said it save their live. If it did, the effects slowly vanished with time. Have you been on Parnate for a while? Are you really saying that this drug changed and saved your life + + + ?

I tried Moclobemide and it produced no side effects but possibly made my depression worse. It is used far less often than the SSRIs or other ADs. As far as Parnate is concerned, there certainly are side effects (particularly at the beginning) and they are hypotension (low blood pressure), increased appetite and weight gain (most people experience weight loss, however), dry mouth, and reduced need for sleep or insomnia in some people. And most of these side effects disappear in time as your body gets used to it. Overall, it has been a lifesaver because it knocked out my depression and anxiety.
