I have seen numerous medical articles on the internet about nefazadone (serzone) being an antidote for ssri induced sexual dysfunction. I love effexor (an snri medication) but recently had to go off due to the crippling experience of sexual dysfunction. I am now on serzone--but I am not sure it is going to be an effective anti-depressant for me yet. I would love to be able to use effexor and have an antidote for sd that really works (wellbutrin sucked for me!)--if serzone/nefazadone does not work. Can a low-dose of nefazadone be combined with effexor? I am not asking for an "OK go ahead do it"---merely a --are there any true contradictions to this? If not, and the serzone does not work sufficiently as an antidepressant, I will talk to my doc about it. But fundamental question:--CAN NEFAZADONE be added to EFFEXOR as an antidote--any TRUE contradictions????
