Well, things are okay now, I met my doc, apparently he dialed my cell number, which was dead at the time.
No, go to google.com, type in "ovation pharmaceuticals" and go to their website. They spent $40 million last August to acquire the rights to Desoxyn and Tranxene.
My doc hadn't heard of it, said "I've never heard of it" in the most peculiar way, like I asked him for crack. But the next appt., he prescribed it anyway. It's in the PDR.
The time-release version went off-market in Aug 2000. Manufacturing problems, nothing else, with Abbott. The immediate release, 5 mg dose is still available. Tell your doctor to look it up in the PDR if he doesn't believe you, mind did.
You're not likely to get a Schedule II drug if you have a history of substance abuse, this includes alcohol, pot, etc. All amphetamines are C-II, including Adderall.
Also, you're not likely to be switched to a different drug because you say you want to or feel like it or whatever. I switched because I have rather bad anxiety problems, which are worsened a ton by Adderall and Dexedrine, I couldn't bear it.
