Yeah, i had the same problems on Klonopin alone or w/ Paxil. i was basically too stupid, tired, and out of it to make good use of my diminished anxiety. And, actually, it made me even more depressed and i cannot handle that. But anyway,
i have been on Nardil for about 6 weeks now. For me it is far better than Klonopin (for SP/SA and my depression), or anything else for that matter. It has the beneficial effects of an SSRI, without much of the apathy, and those of a low dose benzo (for me) without the despair and incompetence-- mixed in with a little dopaminergic and noradrenergic stimulation, which adds a nice little touch of confidence, motivation, and concentration. Fortunately i haven't had to deal with any of the postural hypotension. The main thing i can't freaking stand (well i can stand, but.) are the anticholinergic effects: dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, and freaking memory/ word retrieval problems (which might be cuzza the GABA effects too, i duno).
The only thing that really worries and bothers me is the fact that it's so freaking difficult to get prescribed, and it seems like i can never know when there are gonna be problems getting it (filled). Right now i have to drive 2 hours to get a prescription and then call around all over to find a place that can fill it. Of course i live in a rural area so.. yeah. Good luck.> I've been taking Klonopin for about a week (took .5 in the morning & .5 at bedtime).

> It would also be encouraging if I can hear some successful stories with Nardil because I really thought Klonopin would get my life back, but it didn't, and it would be really really painful if Nardil doesn't either. I'll be doomed cuz there will be nothing else to try.
