don't forget D2 .... .but when you block receptors, you leave more dopamine available in teh synaptic cleft.. therefore sebastian is right in saying that it "increases dopamine" ....

yeah well you are blocking dopamine in both the prefrontal cortex (SZ, BP) and the limbic system (pleasure)

but the blockage in teh limbic system is offset by the 5ht2a antagonism

so the wellbutrin is exerting it's effect to a highier degree on receptors that are not strongly blocked (D2 in the prefrontal cortex ... or mesocortical region, if you will)
