I think you are right and thats what I am going to do. I have an appointment next week with the ob/gyn. I also went to the gym yesterday and had dinner with a friend which made me feel a lot better. The funniest part about everything is that no one knows I have depression. None of my friends at least. I am afraid to tell them in case they judge me and yet its such a struggle you need friends to talk to. Anyway, I appreciate your advice greatly. Thanks again Hannah.

In my experience, people are actually pretty understanding. Depression is a lot more widely talked about now, and doesn't carry the stigma it used to. I just tell people that my brain doesn't produce the right chemicals, so I take medication to counteract that. I frame it as a medical issue, not a psychological one. It's like diabetes or high blood pressure.
