I'm taking 150mg of Wellbutrin XL, the new once a day extended version (was taking the SR prior XL) and 5mg of Lexapro. The reason they came out with the once a day Wellbutrin XL is so you take one dose in the morning, to avoid an afternoon dose which can cause insomnia. I called Glaxo and they said the SR is meant to take twice a day. I'm no doctor, but when you are taking both Wellbutrin and Lexapro together you are supposed to take them together as one "combo" in the morning. I've heard this from my pdoc and regular doc. I've been taking the Wellbutrin about 6 weeks and just added the Lexapro a little over a week ago.
