Hiya,
I don't know about Lexapro, but I got those vivid dreams on Paxil (worse when starting and ending that drug, but they never stopped), and when I started Wellbutrin. They are subsiding, but I *do* remember my dreams now and I went for years never remembering any.
I don't remember if you said, did you just start Lex? If so, the dreams might go away in a few weeks. If not, I'd talk to my pdoc to see if the dosage or something could be adjusted.
I also read somewhere if you don't remember your dream in the first 10 seconds or so upon waking, you won't remember them at all. Are you *wide* awake after dreaming, or still dozing? I've had some luck just making a concerted effort to think *happy* thoughts when I first wake, something totally unrelated to the dream, and it really helps me forget and fall right back to sleep...
Make sure they are happy thoughts, though. One, it's better for you. Two, you'll start associating dreams with happy stuff only. :-)
Good luck, they are vivid, aren't they? I found them actually quite fascinating...
