When I started Nardil I took 2 weeks to build up to 60mg. Then, it took about 4 weeks of being on 60mg for it to really kick in. It kicked in great. After about 6 weeks on 60mg, it started to poop out, so I went to 75mg. It took about 3 weeks for it to help at 75mg, and that's been good for the last month. There are people on this website that expect results after a week on this drug - I find that highly unrealistic. Be patient.
As far as the narco symptoms - I originally was on provigil, but that didn't help that much. Now I take ginseng, which helps. I also went back to coffee even though it's on the "FORBIDDEN DIET." It's been fine - I have 3-4 cups a day. Also, exercise will help. I still do get the narco symptoms once in a while but much less. Now all I need is something to help with my poor attention span and concentration and I'm all set. Oh, I do experience anorgasmia from time to time and that is no fun at all......the ginseng seems to help somewhat for that, too.
