Yeah, Effexor worked pretty well for me the first time I took it - my mood was flattened a bit, but I was definitely not depressed. After being off of everything for 6 months, my depression relapsed and I tried Effexor again, but it didn't work the second time and I had terrible side effects. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything that really has worked for me since. Haven't ventured into the waters of the TCAs yet, though, which is why I'm asking.
