SURVEY: DOES SSRI ACTUALLY WORK???

I'd like to hear your experiences with SSRI's.
I'm a OCD+SP patient, and I have tried Paxil and Celexa. They just made me feel worse...always tired. I hated them. Currently, I'm taking Klonopin. Next week, I'll go to see my pdoc, and I have to tell him if I want to try another SSRI or not. I have posted about this but nobody here helped me.
So far, from this forum, I haven't seen any person who have said "SSRI is GREAT!!!". I have seen some ppl saying MAOI or some Benzo are great but no SSRI. Is it really true that SSRI producing companies bought pdocs and article writers with money???
I read some ppl's threads about experiences with SSRI's, and I remember some saying "SSRI simply makes you think "I don't care". So, when you go to see pdoc you really don't complain, and it makes SSRI seems as if working"
That was excatly what happened to me. I really didn't care even tho I noticed my unusual feeling and symptoms after taking SSRI.
So, should I tell my pdoc whether I want to try another SSRI or not? Has somebody got free of OCD+anxiety...ANYBODY???? I haven't seen any!!!
I'm sick and tired of this OCD and anxiety!!!
