side effects to straterra and wellbutrin

Posted by crybaby on October 12, 2003, at 1:44:47

I've been taking 60mg straterra along with 300mg of wellbutrin SR for about a 1wk or 2, and straterra alone for about 2 months. I have noticed a major change in my school work,my depression, and my ability to focus, and they have been very positve. My side effects have been dry mouth and loss of appetite along with an upset stomach and since i have very bad stomach aches its hard for me to eat and I get dizzy and have to find myself constantly sitting down. I also find myself itching alot more and I am not sure if it is from the medicine or something I have come in contact with. Are these normal side effects that I should be expecting to go away soon? I really like how I feel emotionally but I just want to know if these side effects will go away because if not my mother and I feel I should switch my depression medication. I am new to taking medications for ADHD and depression because I was just officially diagnosed this summer and I dont want to do too much switching around but I dont know if this combination is the best. I guess I will just have to wait it out and see what happens, and try not to be afraid to "experiment" with other medications. Feel free to let me know the different types of medications you are taking and if they seem to work for you.(19 yrs old)
