The problem is i can only start out at 3 x 15 mg daily (45mg) and after approx 4 weeks this has to taper down to 15 daily or every other day.
What? I really don't think that is going to do much at all. I suppose he read the standard monograph where it says people can be maintained on 15 every day or every other day. Not true. No clinical trials support this. In fact, most support the fact that you need between 60-90mg.
I need to try and persuade my doctor that i need 60-75 mg of nardil for my social anxiety although another problem is that nardil in the uk is treated for depression only and is very rarely used.Find another doctor maybe. Get educated about the pharmacology behind Nardil, and let the doc know this.
They prefer to give out the ssris for things like that

(ive tried almost every ssri under the sun as well as beta blockers and effexor and tryciclics and none of them have lited my anxiety levels significantly and any small gains i do get poop out to quickly)
