Demulin 150 Birth control for anticonvulsant

Posted by karen_kay on November 3, 2003, at 16:15:06

I am taking Topamax and am going to be starting birth control. Apparently, Topamax lowers the effectiveness of birth control pills. So, there is a newer type of birth control called Demulin 150 that has a higher level of Estrogen. I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen and Depo Provera in the past, so I know about the side effects of regualr birth control. I just wonder what to expect from this. Has anyone here taken it? What are the side effects? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Karen
