I know the feeling!!! I have found that the biggest ache is at the base of my skull at the top of my kneck. I have not found Ibuprofen or any other anti-inflammatory helpful. Actually, quite the contrary. I have used a heating pad on the back of my kneck. It seems to work a small miracle. These chemicals often cause vaso-constriction. Heat tends to relax the soft muscle tissue by opening up the veins and increasing blood flow.
