I have to disagree...I believe it usually makes depression better, esp if taken with another serotonergic AD. For some, it is a stand alone AD like Risperidone (this drug can really work great for depression). I agree, it is sedating, but this usually wears off. But, I have seen some wonderful responses from Zyprexa- for depression, OCD, bipolar etc...

Are you taking any antidepressants? I think antidepressants and mood stabilizers are what you probably need.
