A very smart question to ask on your part. Last week I was popping Sudafed for a cold. The cold got better, but I had my first manic episode in 2 years and am now back on lithium and Risperdal (which I am not happy about). The one thing I do recommend is that you DON'T take sudafed or anything containing a decongestant. Do what I should have done and ask a pharmacist or call you doctor and ask him/her.
