I think (if I remember correctly) I said for me it was activating. For example I could never take oxycotin past 3 or 4pm or i could not sleep. Its likely my reaction was atypical.
As for ADs, I found percocet to be a wonderful anti depressant and i had no energy problem (as it was activating for me)
Everyone responds differently.

What did you mean by "rather activing and would preclude the use of an AD?"
