effexor/remeron/wellbutrin combo

i take remeron ( 90 mg/day ) for about a year and added effexor ( 450 mg/day ) 7 weeks ago. In the 6th week on effexor i felt first benefits. But i smoked as hell. So I added wellbutrin 150 mg/day last week. On the second day with wellbutrin there was a major lift in my depression at midday for about 3 hours.
I never thougt having benefits against depression from wellbutrin. I only take it for quitting smoking.
The feeling doesn´t come again since then. What happened ?
