I definitely think you should get a prescription anyway.
The impression that I'm starting to get as I adjust to the new Nardil after taking the old is that the new Nardil still has the same amount of phenelzine sulphate in it, but for all the people who've been taking Nardil for years, this new format is absorbed at a different rate or in a different way so that all of a sudden we're all having reactions like side effects and withdrawals. I'm having to do things like tweak the dosage and change around frequency and timing of taking my pills and such. It sucks, but I can tell that the 'magic' ingredient is still there....
And as a new Nardil user, you'll be having to tweak the dosage, etc. to figure out what works for you, and in the meantime you'll experience side effects, but you would anyway. It is just really startling and scary for people like me to be dealing with those sorts of issues after all these years of no problems on Nardil, but I believe I will adjust, assuming we can't all somehow force Pfizer to start making Nardil the way they used to!What I'm saying, though, is go for it ;)
