> I just went to the doctor because I'd been feeling really anxious, sleeping a lot, etc.--classic depression and anxiety symptoms. I've never been diagnosed before, and he gave me Lexapro to try. I'm sure you guys have already addressed this somewhere on here, but has anyone gained weight from this drug? The depression already had me up fifteen pounds because of increased appetite, and the medicine has me back to normal where I'm motivated to lose it. I just want to make sure it's not hopeless to try!

I went from a size 10 to a 6 since starting Lex. Very happy about it because I was overweight and it needed to come off. My appetite went away when I started, but now has returned to normal. I still eat the way I used to, but I haven't gained the weight back. Have been on Lex since Feb.

Others though report that they gain weight on Lex. Hopefully you will be one of those who loses weight!

Good luck to you!~~~8|8
