Chemical Sesitivity

My uncle is sensitive to chemicals in the air. How would he react to psychotropic meds, like Paxil for example? He works in a lab and smells chemicals all day, the smells make him sick; dizzy, etc. Would psycotropics make him more sick? Or feel better?
