Thanks. But I was thinking a low dosage of each maybe. I am on 90mg of Parnate right now. So I wonder what would happen on say 40 mg of Parnate and 30 of Nardil? Somehow I don't think I will find out. But I wish I could take Nardil in the afternoon so I could sleep at night!!! And I am scared to switch over to Nardil completly because of weight gain and I don't know if it is the depression buster that Parnate is for me. I don't suffer from any anxiety at all which is why my pdoc tried me on the Parnate first.
I am curious though.

> Phenelzine is a medication that is called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAO inhibitor). It may interact with other MAO inhibitors. Other MAO inhibitors include but are not limited to Marplan(R), Parnate(R), and Eldepryl(R). If you are not sure if your medication is a MAO inhibitor, contact your pharmacist or physician. Consult your physician before starting treatment with both phenelzine and another MAO inhibitor. Being treated with both phenelzine and another MAO inhibitor is not recommended. You should wait at least 10 days after you stop taking phenelzine before you start taking another MAO inhibitor. If you are already being treated with phenelzine and another MAO inhibitor, and are experiencing intense sweating, facial flushing, frequent headaches, or racing or pounding heart beat, contact your physician immediately.
