I started getting severe panic attacks about a year ago...worrying myself to the point of staying up all night and day...dreading going to bed because you know you're going to wake up sick to your stomach, and have to face it all over again. After you've had a panic attack, life is not the same. Life is grey. Torture. You feel like you've gone mad. It's a shitty cycle. I have gone the antidepressant route and had the worst bad acid-trip experience of my life which is no experience for someone going through panic attacks.
I would like to bring light to the very important fact that there is no one known cause of depression or anxiety disorders. The information in the marketing of these drugs is misleading. The drug companies are very intent to take advantage of your desperation and offer you a quick fix. someone makes pretty good coin off those pills you're popping to make yourself "normal". If you were read any information on anti depressants they try to tell you that " although the cause is unknown, depression MAY BE caused by a chemical imbalance" key words MAY BE meaning it MAY ALSO BE DUE TO F*UCKING ANYTHING AND WE DON"T REALLY KNOW BUT HERE TAKE THESE MIND ALTERING PILLS blah blah blah this goes for herbal aswell as all prescribed medications that is why they don't work on everyone. don't let them brainwash you into believing you're f*cked up because you're not. it is insane not to be insane in this world. there are various physical/emotional/mental/environmental factors that cause depression and anxiety. it has been four months since i've had a panic attack. of course i still get the fear every once and a while and i do smoke a lot of weed to fall asleep at night but the good thing is i have not had the terrifying hyperventilating panic attacks i used to have. here is a good website to read on helping with panic attacks. i know lots of you guys laugh at these techniques but if some of this sh@t works for me it can work for anyone.
