I experienced some insomnia with Nardil. I used to sleep past 10:00 a.m. nearly every morning, which made working in my chosen field more difficult. Since I've been on Nardil, I usually wake at about 5:30. I usually feel pretty rested as long as I went to bed at a reasonable time. While I was on pain meds for a bad tooth, however, I started waking earlier and earlier and could not get back to sleep (for some reason codeine does that to me.) After that I went back to late sleeping for a bit, but now seem to be back to regularly getting up early.
But this meant I had to give my favorite hobby as well--sleeping late. I do miss it at times, especially on weekends, but it is SO worth it to have remission from depression!
Good luck in this trial. I am on 45 mg since Aug. but I am often quite sensitive to meds. Also being treated for atypical depression versus social anxiety. Perhaps an increase will work for you.
