provigil and migraine

Posted by Elsa West on January 5, 2004, at 21:45:15

Hi, I have had wonderful results with provigil for ADD and atypical depression. I currently take it with lamictal, sulpride and manerix. This combo is superb, however, the provigil gives me migraines. I've tried adrafinil and had the same result (provigil works better). Before the manerix I was on serzone and I must say the migraines were even more agonizing. With manerix they are markedly improved but still occur. Any thoughts on what may work? In the past pindolol has worsened my depression and I cannot tolerate the trycyclics as they make me overly anxious and nervous. By the way I am bipolar2. Any info appreciated. Elsa West
